What is Crystal Healing?

Crystals have been used for millennia for healing, meditation and divination (which draws on the power of crystals to develop and channel psychic energies). Crystal healing is predicated on the particular resonance (vibration) of different crystals with the energies of the physical and etheric body (also referred to as the aura) and with the physical and metaphysical universe and the consequent impact upon those energies that the judicious use of specially selected crystals can have. Crystal Healing is a holistic therapy (that is, it seeks to achieve overall patient wellbeing - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual - rather than just the relief of specific symptoms) which seeks to identify and treat energy imbalances and blockages.

What conditions can be treated by Crystal Healing?

Since Crystal Healing operates at the level of subtle energies and since energy imbalances or disruptions may result from a myriad of causes - physical, mental, emotional, spiritual - Crystal Healing can be beneficial in alleviating many conditions, whatever their origin. Crystal Healing may be used as a single therapy or in conjunction with other energy-based healing systems such as Reiki.

What is a Crystal Healing treatment like?

The Initial Consultation will involve taking a detailed case history and during the Initial Consultation a Treatment Plan may be suggested and the likely timescale and cost indicated.

Crystal Healing treatments are conducted with the patient lying on a treatment couch or, if unable to do so, sitting in a treatment chair. There is no need to undress but you may be asked to remove watches, spectacles, contact lenses, shoes, belts - anything which may be constricting or interfere with the energy flows. The treatment may include the design (based on the case notes) of a crystal lay-out on and/or around the body and aura. Additional techniques include the application to meridians (energy channels), acupuncture points, chakras etc of crystal wands which focus and target energies (depending on the crystal properties and the recipent's qualities) in a directed fashion.
